Your Guide to 4th of July Fireworks
The 4th of July is the “official” start to summer in Lake Tahoe. The days are long, the sun is bright, and the nights bring starry skies and a welcome relief from the heat. On the 4th of July, the night also brings several spectacular fireworks shows. Set on the shores of our glistening lake and surrounded by majestic peaks, our numerous fireworks displays commemorate our nation’s independence in a truly magnificent setting.
Whether viewed from the beach, boat or mountaintop, there’s no such thing as a bad seat for Truckee and Lake Tahoe fireworks. With so many options to choose from, the only hard part is deciding which show to go see.
If you want to start celebrating early and see fireworks two days in a row, start with the July 3 show in Kings Beach. Spend the day at the Kings Beach State Recreation Area and see the fireworks at 9:30 p.m.
